I can imagine that they'll be criticised for this, but in honesty I think that this is an instance where technology is a bit of a pain in the arse. As if stuff like this didn't happen all the time before there were video cameras to film it. Even when there were, no one would ever have seen it were it not for YouTube. Police officers have stressful jobs, especially the ones who have cause to carry riot shields. I think I'd be inclined to let this one slide. So to speak...
